Before I bothered to look up his work, Tom Otterness was all around me here in New York City. From his cute (and often times, kinda creepy) Life Underground series in the 14th Street A/C/E station to the piece he has in my neighborhood up in Harlem, Otterness’ work has been a part of my experience here.
